If you leave your article in Draft status and select update you will still be able to edit your article at a later time.
To locate an article that you wrote select My Articles while logged in.
You will be taken to the My Articles tab by default and you will see all of the articles that you have create that are still in Draft status.
To see all articles that are in Draft Status select the Show all articles (from all authors) box to display draft articles from all authorized authors for your website.
